Spreadsheet Revision 3
Copy and paste the questions into your own blog. Answer the questions in the same post. Make sure you put the post into your Spreadsheet category.
Able Art Printing company use spreadsheets as part of its business.
A sample is shown below.
- The name of the company, Able Art Printing, does not fit in the column.
State what must be done to the column to make the name fit. - What cell formatting has been used in cell B3 so that both words appear?
- A formula is used in cell D8. What is it?
- A formula is also used in cell D10. What is it?
- The formula for cells D4 to D7 was entered in D4. It was then replicated
down the column.
State what is meant by replicated. - State how the format of cell C7 should be changed so that it looks the same as cell C6.
Spreadsheet Revision 2
Classy Computers have asked their sales team to sell as many printers as possible this week.
To encourage the sales team, they have offered a bonus in their wages if they sell 90 or more.
The spreadsheet shown below contains the result of the promotion.
- Write down the formula that would be used in cell F5.
- The formula in cell F5 was replicated down into cells F6 to F9. Both absolute and relative referencing were used.
Explain carefully why this was necessary. - Write down the formula that would be contained in the cell E5.
- Describe 2 types of formatting that has been applied to this spreadsheet.

- If you haven’t done so already, create a new blog category called “Spreadsheets”.
- Create a new post in that category called “Spreadsheet Revision 1″.
- Please copy and paste the following questions into your blog.
